A lovely little Northwoods lake. We caught tons of bluegills and a few rockbass from the shore with worms and bobbers. Lots of fun for kids but be sure to use a bigger hook or they'll swallow the hook and you'll end up with floaters around. You can fish from shore all around the south-east corner. The rest of the lake is bordered by private land and you'll need a boat I think.
We stayed overnight, there is a $12 fee for non-electric and $17 for electric. There are weekly and monthly rates also. Sites 4 and 6 are the only ones that are non-electric though - the other 9 spots are with electric (2 of these are right in the parking lot basically). You can also just put in a boat and fish for a $5 use fee. We stayed in spot 4 and hung hammocks between the trees. Bring your Deet because the mosquitoes are voracious as the sun sets and throughout the evening.
There is a nice little playground with swings and a swimming area.
