On 4/18 I had an oil change on my 2015 F150 which went well until I checked the oil level 2 days later. I discovered the oil level was only up to the first mark on the dipstick. I took the truck back to the dealership to get the level checked. A service manager assisted me and checked the dipstick 3 times, then had a tech check it a couple of times and nothing changed. He then took my VIN # and entered it into the computer system to verify the oil change was completed. The service manager came back and stated that when the oil change was performed, 6.7 quarts of oil were added according to Ford's specs. I said oil should be between the 2 marks on the dipstick. He corrected me, stating that the 6.7 quarts was all that was recommended and any additional oil would cause possible engine damage. I said, add the oil, I'll take my chances...thanks. After numerous issues with this vehicle, and this last experience in the service department, 1 week later I traded it in for a brand new Dodge. This is my first non-Ford truck in 45 years. Thank you Ford and Scaffidi for the not-so-great service.
