Wisconsin Redworms

I am very happy with my order of 2 pounds of red wiggler worms. The worms are healthy and the shipment contained only Eisenia Fetida with no other species of worm. I have found that the larger worm suppliers don't actually give you the Eisenia Fetida (red wiggler). Instead you get a mix of blue worms with few red wiggler worms. A few months ago I ordered 2 pounds of red wigglers from the largest worm supplier; what I actually received was an order of 99% blue worms. I found one red wiggler in the entire order. Do your research and contact your worm supplier before you order. Ask them what percentage of Eisenia Fetida you will actually receive in your order and what other worms you can expect to receive. If the order contains more than 10% of a different species of worm, find a different supplier. I am happy to say that Wisconsin Redworms supplies a pure order with no blue worms. Wisconsin Redworm prices are very competitive. I have been composting with worms since 2008 and am quite pleased to find a supplier that offers a pure order of Eisenia Fetida worms.
