I rent often at various locations due to traveling for work. Over the years I've learned that when renting at MKE certain things are guaranteed.
1) Rotten car selection. Consistently rotten.
2) Bypass the counter? No, not here. They always stop you at the guard shack.
3) Regardless of which car you rent, you have a 90% chance of two tires being underinflated, along with one tire so underinflated as to technically be flat. And if you complain? They don't care. I used to keep checking other vehicles, now I just drive the s*** out of it in spite of the flats not caring if all the underinflated tires are damaged.
I used to use MKE to avoid ORD when possible. I no longer do so because now I am out to avoid National at MKE. National at ORD is MUCH better run.
