Zephyr Cafe

I stay at that truck stop over night and had the fish platter and it was very good. Then I woke up this morning and had breakfast. What a disappointment. I guess its depends on who in the kitchen. The omelet was a mess, the hashbrown wasn't even eatable. They where burnt. The English muffin was delicious though. But if I wanted just the English muffin I would have not spent 8.00 on the whole meal. I planned on having dinner but I change my mind. Ill eat off the truck. Update: I went the follow day and order some more breakfast. I order 4 eggs with sausage in it, home fries, English muffin. I was prepare today to check my food before I left. And it was of quality that I had on Friday. And as I was waiting I seen other dishes coming out of the kitchen that look real good. Then I put 2 and 2 together. yes I figure it out. The difference was that the older Mexican guy was in there today and Friday. But he was not in there on Saturday. He must have had the day off. Well the young girl (I think was his daughter) was in the kitchen on Saturday by herself. And I think that explains everything. And other reviews I read made since now. Sometime the food was good and some times the food was horrible. Well when I stop through again, if the young girl is by herself in the kitchen, I will pass on eatting that day. She can't cook. But the daddy can cook his butt off.
