I have been going to see Dr. Woods for several years and always been very happy with the experience. I had an appointment last week. I told Dr. Woods I was going out for opening day of deer hunting the following day. My prescription had changed, so Dr. Woods gave me a free pair of contacts so I could see better while hunting. He also suggested a new type of contact (and explained why it would be a better fit for me). I said yes, so he ordered TWO pairs of the contacts for me to try free of cost!
Every single time I go through the doors I also get at least 2 free boxes of travel sized contact solution in the brand I use. I got these even when I came in to have a ruptured blood vessel looked at (he squeezed me I so I could make my flight without worrying about my eye).
In addition to the "free stuff" he is excellent at his job. He is very personable and always has new and interesting research to share with those who are interested. A doctor who keeps learning is going to be on top of new and improved options; Dr. Woods is most definitely one of these doctors. If you are in a huge hurry I would recommend an appointment in the morning. His willingness to accommodate people, do foreign object removed as needed, and the personal touch take time that is not always scheduled. I never mind running a little late, because that personal touch and accommodating attitude are far more important to me.
