I had my first visit at the Van Bier Salon on Thursday with Missy. As with all first time cuts, I was very anxious. (We've all had that hair cut with a new person that just didn't work out.) From the second I met Missy I was in love. She has a bubbly personality and right away made me feel like I was in the right place with the right person. We talked about what I wanted and my concerns about my hair. She offered her ideas and then walked me through the process before she started cutting to make sure we were on the same page. I never felt rushed. The shampoo was more like a massage - so relaxing! My cut was perfect and she added the details that i have been trying to achieve for years with other stylists, but just didn't know how to convey. I love it! I am in my 50's, but feel the cut makes me look younger and fresh! I can't wait to go back to get my hair colored!
