After being a customer for two decades, from back when this was "The Bank of Verona," the powers that be decided to lower what I could withdrawal from their own ATM from $500 to $300, with no notification. Further the minimum amount required in BoCP's savings is $200. That's $100 more than required in my savings accounts at UW Credit Union and The Bank of Monona. Further, a monthly two dollar service charge is deducted should one's balance fall below $199.99.
So I've closed my 20+ year old savings account at Bank of Cross Plains and will simply bank elsewhere.
