From all the gyms I've been to, Snap Fitness is by far my favorite place to go (I've been a member at Planet Fitness, Blast Fitness, and Bally's when it was still around; I have done trials at Xperience Fitness and Anytime Fitness).
Snap Fitness in Bay View is clean/tidy, tends not to be too crowded, is open 24/7 including holidays, has a pretty fast turn around on fixing broken equipment, and has a team of friendly staff members.
Though it costs a bit more than your average "$20/mo bring a guest" membership to many of these larger gyms, it's definitely worth it, especially if you despise huge & dirty locker rooms, equipment that stays broken for weeks/months, never finding an open spot on a piece of equipment you want to use, and members that can be beyond the definition of gross.
Thanks for going above and beyond Snap Fitness staff at the BV location; it's much appreciated!!
