Unfortunately, I don't have the option to rate Seton Catholic Schools with negative stars; if I could rate this corrupt organization with negative stars, I would. Seton Catholic schools are no good for the Catholic youth's future. In fact, Seton big wigs act the opposite of what Christian Catholics are called to act, with the way they treat teachers. The kids of the future will be deprived of their Catholic education, as Seton plans to include religion as reading/language arts for roughly 30 minutes a week. Paying for Catholic education? I think not. Some schools do not even have their students attend weekly masses. Children have figured out so called "center time" and "think, pair, share time" is play time; it is social time with friends. Seton keeps everything secret. They don't tell their staff what they plan to do, nor have they notified parents & families of the way they are changing the Catholic schoools. Seton seems like a way of covering up some issues that have arisen with priests in the past the last few years. Seton controls their staff by abusing their emotions and making teachers feel as if they do not know how to properly teach. No offense to Seton, but maybe if they look back at academic records, they'd see teachers in fact can & do teach their children quite well. The teachers have been made to feel worthless by Seton, yet I can say they have a lasting, positive life impact on the students they have taught over the years. Dr. Hughes has pointed to a book on Seton's website that he is using to create his Seton Schools... well DOCTOR Hughes, maybe you shouldn't rely on a book when creating your empire of Seton Schools.. or Pinterest for that matter with your silliness. Maybe it's time for the news media to become aware of what Seton really is, instead of what has been reported. It's time for the public to learn the complete truth.
