The time came that I wanted to trade-in my old car, and after doing some research, I found Selig who had the car I liked. The Sales Manager was nice, and pushed me through the process very quickly. It was the car that I wanted, so I went through the process - which was my choice, of course. TWO days after purchasing my vehicle, the check engine light went on. The Manager seemed as if he wanted to help me, but only set two appointments to have the light turned off, not to be fixed. When the time came to have it fixed, he ignored all my phone calls and emails and NEVER set any appointment for me as promised. While waiting to have this problem worked out, I filled up my tank and my car BARELY started - this only after 3 days of having the car! They basically gave me a lemon and then tried to brush me away! I eventually had to get ANOTHER car after only 2 weeks with VERY little help from the management at Selig. I beleive they knew this car was a clunker, and had NO intentions of ever helping me, just making a quick buck. Selig will not do as thorough of an inspection as any dealership. I would HIGHLY suggest looking at a dealership first, as they won't put problem cars on the lot like Selig did. I think Selig will do anything to make a quick buck, and I had a VERY costly lesson in this! Even after I let them know everything that happened, they didn't offer anything more than a 'sorry,' and even suggest I contact them for my car needs down the road! STEER CLEAR!
If I could rate this place lower Than one star I would. Long story short Traded my car for something better come to find out there was a mess of things wrong with it and my engine eventually blew causing well over 7500 in cost. Would never recommend this place even to my worst enemy. STAY AWAY. they don't care about anything but your money in there pocket. And coming from my mechanic they've dealt with cars from them before and they don't recommend them either! Please keep a close mind to what I say.
