River's Bend

Arrived for dinner last night at 5:45 without a reservation. We typical don’t go out for dinner until 7:00 but decided to go earlier because three weeks ago when we when there the wait was an hour longer than we were told when we arrived. Last night was no different. The hostess said the wait time would be 45 minutes. At 7:00 the bartender checked to see how much longer the wait would be. She said it would be soon. At 7:25 we decided we were no longer going to wait as the 4 person group next to us at the bars table was ready. They arrived much later than us. We were a party of two not a party of ten. As we started to leave our table was ready. Had we known the wait time was going to be an hour and 45 min we would have gone somewhere else. Bartenders and hostesses need to be more aware of their customers and how long they’ve been waiting. We had 5 cocktaills, pretty obvious we waited a long time. Should have gone to Boxcar Billy’s as they care about their customers.

We had a very good time. Excellent food & great service. Definitely would go back again.
