The estimated wait times for walk ins are way off. Always have to wait at least 1 hour.

I called urgent care asking them if I could have an abscess drained in my armpit. The woman on the phone assured me it was possible. When I went in the nurse practitioner refused to drain the painful abscess instead giving me a prescription for an antibiotic. If the receptionist wouldn't have told me it could be drained I would not have come in. When the nurse told me she would not drain it I got upset and sat crying in the room. The nurse asked why I was upset and when I explained to her why she quickly left the room. I continued to sit in the room crying and the nurse nor any other staff made any effort to comfort me. As medical professionals I feel they should show some sort of sympathy for their patients. I understand they have other responsibilities but at the time I was the only patient there. Next time I need medical help I will be hesitant to return to this clinic.
