Experienced very poor delivery and customer service tonight after ordering online from Pizza Hut. Placed an order at 530 pm online for 3 pizzas, paid, and patiently waited while periodically checking the “delivery tracker.” After patiently waiting for an hour and checking the “delivery tracker,” there was still no progress from our order being placed to actually being made and delivered. With that being said, we placed a call to check on the status of it and make sure it actually went through. We called, we talked with an employee, and were informed that the pizza would be there within the next half hour. After 35 more minutes had passed, we concerningly called our local Pizza Hut (Rose Street in La Crosse, WI) again wondering how much longer this would actually be. They replied saying it will be there ANY minute. 25 more minutes pass. We made ONE MORE call, again wondering where the pizza was that should have been here “any minute.” However, this time around, the person on the phone was extremely rude, offered no explanation, and asked us if we wanted to just cancel the order, after almost 2 HOURS had gone by. At this point, there was no way we were canceling and re-waiting for another delivery to begin, so we ended the call and continued to wait. FINALLY, over 2 hours later, we finally got our pizzas. I never expected that our simple online order at 5:30 would lead to 3 phone calls, rude customer service, and COLD pizza, all from a pizza place that was less than 8 blocks away from its delivery destination. I am extremely displeased with Pizza Hut and their services, and will NEVER order from such a rude and unprofessional business again. I guess we will take our business elsewhere.
