I have been shopping as this store for years and spend thousands here yearly. Two days ago I bought 2 packs of Perdue chicken tenderloins. I opened the packs today to cook them and the chicken smelled, as it had gone bad. The date on the packs said Feb 3rd. I took the smelly chicken back to the store, but I no longer had the receipt. I was told they could not exchange the packs due to lack of receipt...no exceptions. I've not had this experience at other stores, as I tend to shop the same stores and am recognizable by most of the employees. Kroger will get no more of my hard-earned money and I will tell everyone I know about my experience. Two packs of chicken tenderloins totaling under $12.00 will cost them thousands.
