1 Apr 27, 2018 Luke Walters Buying 8lb bags of ice almost daily, started wondering so I checked the weight. Out of the last 10 bags, 2 were slightly over 8 pounds gross, most were 7 1/2 pounds or less and one was under 6 pounds. Watch out for short measures!
