Winter time review. Do not come here on a weekend. It is way too many people for the small indoor water park. During the week, the lines for rides are decent. It’s ok for what you pay to stay. The only hotel I’ve ever stayed with no coffee pot in the room. Chlorine levels are extreme. Free food not worth the 3 hour wait in line. Indoor amusement park is for children 4-10. Very cheap, so you get what you pay for. All the employees look miserable. Today, we saw the lifeguard shivering in the pool, blowing into his hands for warmth. Next time we will pay the extra for Kalahari or Wilderness. Do not feel welcomed or valued here at all.
Small but good for young families, the resort is nice but I would suggest going during summer when the entire park is open. There are too many other hotels in the area and not enough parking. So you may need to walk if everything is full of you are not a guest of the resort.
This is the worst place I've ever taken my family. This has been the worst facility I've EVER experience. The staff is so incompetent and plain RUDE. I've slept better in Iraq on deployment than I did here. I only rated it 1 star because there was NOT an option for O STARS. MY 5 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER HAD A VERY BAD BITRTHDAY EXPERIENCE. Just plain pathetic. We ended up just leaving the resort and got a regular motel with a swimming pool and saved her birthday. I'd like to have a word with whoever owns this place. Coming from a military standpoint....the owner has LITTLE to NO respect for people. And I'd go so far to say that there is EVEN LESS self respect of the faceless owner of these facilities.
