Some of the staff are very hard on the inmates. I do understand that this is a prison, but yet the inmates are still allowed to leave and work in the society with regular people that are not incarcerated. I feel that the inmates should be still be treated as normal people. If the inmates there were such a menace to society then why are they in a minimal center and able to work outside the facility and not in medium? I do strongly believe that the inmates that work their way down to minimum and are allowed to get work release should be treated differently from those who are in medium or max facilities. I believe that if you have done programs to better yourself and your community without HAVING to do them but only doing them because they WANT to do them to better themselves should have a better chance on getting released on good time. I do also understand that Scott Walker took that and the bracelet away but yet I still feel strongly that it should be brought back. People have families out here that need both of their parents. I strongly believe parents being away from their children for such child and may possibly make a huge reflection as they get older and could possibly end up in aw@ system just as their parents did because they don't have the structured bond that they should. Yes they did the crime they should pay the time. But some of these inmates are doing everything they can....working getting an education. I just wish the system would look differently on some of the inmates cases and what they have accomplished and changed while they were incarcerated. Not everyone changes I understand that, but at least give those that have made an effort to prove that what they have learned can and will reflect on the outside walls of prison.
