Hi I'm seeing a lot of negative opinions about both the health and dental clinics, maybe you've just had bad experiences but I personally haven't really had any. When I first started going there I thought the wait for an app was ridiculous 6 months! But I'm pretty sure there was a reasonable reason for this Im pretty sure they didn't have that policy just for the hell of it. At least the wait now is only a month which isn't that bad. I also thought it was ridiculous that if you didn't confirm the app or were 5 min late you wouldn't be seen at all I mean stuff happens what if you're phone broke or there was an accident on the way? But I believe they have this policy because there were probably many people who just didn't show up or call for no reason and after many incidents they had no choice you know what they say one ruins it for everyone. And I do understand about the waiting sometimes its pretty long but do you realise how many people go to these clinics on a daily basis? These are low income clinics who probably don't have the resources let's say as dental associates, these clinics are also much smaller and probably don't have the funds to hire as many dentists or perssonel as a bigger company would be able to and these dentists bust their asses on a daily basis running back and forth between patients, and regarding rudeness and unknowlegable staff ive never had that problem the front desk was very helpful and cheerful I did have an incident once where the person was rude but I'm assuming that person was just having a bad day that day because it never happened has anyone not had a bad day and was maybe a little rude to someone? I mean were all human but I do get that that attitude shouldn't be expressed in the workplace because it is very unprofessional and I don't know if people were saying that the dentists were unknowlegable also because the dentists that I've met seemed to know very much what they were doing and talking about I'm pretty sure if they didn't they wouldn't have been able to graduate college and obtain a degree I mean I hope not lol
Extremely dissatisfied with our experiences here. My first indication as to the unprofessionalism at Kenosha Community Dental was when my son was to have a filling by Dr. Jazwiecki. He repeatedly tried to numb my son's gum and it was not working. His gum had a huge pocket of fluid and understandably hurt. I said forget it and got him out of there. We stayed away after that happened and then decided to try again. When my daughter was having a filling a tool grazed her bottom lip. It looked like a huge burn extending from the lower inside to the top and even underneath the tongue. The whole staff their covers up each others mistakes. I called 3 times the same week it happened and gave an email with absolutely no response from the Dr. or manager. I asked if I came in if she could just take a look at it and was rudely told it was up to her if she wanted to come out and see it. The way the office is set up makes sense to me now. Dentists are not accessable/viewable and the doors are locked to the working area. I called twice the second week and left Iris the manager multiple voicemails with no return. I called and she had left for the day. My son had a cleaning that day so I thought I'd have the opportunity to talk with her and she called in that day. The State of WI should really investigate this place. It is not right that children are injured and then not acknowledged. I wonder how many others there have been and will be.
