was called on Wed. 06/09/10 and left message that while moving my nephew's belongings out of 1014 Laurel ave. rear Janesville, WI.
I fell down the basement steps I seen her on Fri. 6/11/10 never asked if I was ok or how I was doing then when I called her on Monday 06/14/10 told her that everything was out and to make arraignment to return keys and have final inspection.
I asked her for the Landlord name and Insurance name and she starts laughing and saying I knew this was comming. I again informed her that i had in deed fell down on the steps to the basement and i hurt my back, it hurts very bad, stiff neck and all every day i wake up so stiff i can hardly walk and she laugh's some more and refuses to give me the names

Civil Code §1962 requires the landlord / property management to disclose to the tenant / agent his/her true name, address, liability insurance carrier etc, if the landlord refuses. Can be cited under Civil Code §1962 The landlord is not permitted to hide from the tenants, One new law [Health and Safety Code §17997] requires landlords after being cited for substandard conditions to identify who they are to the County or in the building elevator, and failure to do so is both a misdemeanor and a defense to an eviction.
