I've taken my car(s) to Gene's since Lee Lemens came to work there. I knew his work, and work ethic, from where he was previously, and when he moved, I did also. As an older woman, there are times when it would be easy to take advantage, to tell me work is needed that isn't, or to pad the bill but that never ever happens with Lee. He gives alternatives when possible, and, in fact, advised me to get rid of my car rather than pay him the several thousand dollars of repair it needed.
In addition, the work is always done, done well, and done in a timely fashion. I cannot praise the place, or the man, enough.
