I went to this collision center because of a little fender bender I was involved in with my front bumper and was recommended to go here from Brodhead Chevy to get it repaired. I get there and work with Jerry on getting a quote for the parts. I do not have Comprehensive insurance on it so I told him I would like it as inexpensive as possible. He quotes me $3900 but tells me he can get it down at least half. I hear back from him in a couple of days and he gets it down to $2700. I ask if there is any way to get it down as close to $2000 as possible. He gives me the name of one of the shop guys that does it on the side, Kevin. He says that Kevin can do it for about $2000, I said great let me know when I can get it in and a final price. I wait 4 weeks before reaching out to Jerry asking what's going on and he explains that Kevin was out for a week and he was out for personal reasons, I said I understand and that I would like to move forward on getting the repairs done for the above price. Another week goes by and Jerry calls me asking me to come in to take another look at it to make sure all the parts are accounted for that are needed. He says they will be in touch in the next day or 2. I waited over Labor Day weekend to hear back. Jerry called me that Tuesday, 6 days later, asking me if I'm bringing the car in to get worked and I told him I was waiting to hear back from him like he said he was going to do. I was getting frustrated so my husband talked to him to get the full picture of what the final cost was and where all the dollars were coming from because now the price is at $2130.12. Jerry hung up on my husband because he was asking too many questions apparently. We called back and told him that was extremely rude and not the right way to treat a customer. At that moment Jerry said the we aren't his customer so we asked to talk to Kevin since we must be only his customer now and Jerry wants nothing to do with us. We spoke with Kevin and he gladly answered all of our questions and explained the situation to us without hanging up on us! Long story short, it took them over a month to get us quoted and fixed up and I had to initiate all of the communication, which was only done through Jerry even though he made it very clear we weren't his customers. This mindset leads me to believe that is why the communication was poor from the beginning and I felt like I was put on the back burner the entire time. Kevin was easy to work with but I would not recommend working with Jerry. I never plan on being a customer of Jerry's ever and wouldn't recommend him to anyone.
