Firehouse Subs

What a shame. I've been to the Firehouse Subs in Mineral Point and the food and service was excellent; I figured I'd get the same kind service at this new location. How wrong I was. The service was slooooooow and it was not busy at all. It shouldn't take 20 minutes to make two small sub sandwiches. It seemed to me, of the three employees working, only one was making our sandwiches while another cleaned. (As a side note, while cleaning, the employee dropped the broom on the floor right in front of the entrance for anyone to trip over, and left it lie there for a good 10 minutes.) I don't know what the other guy was doing: I think he was just walking around doing nothing. I can't say walking around doing nothing while trying to look busy because that would imply he was at least moving around. He was slow and looked like he didn't care. Any way ... once we finally got our two small sandwiches and took them home I was very disappointed to find that they didn't really put any meat on my sandwich. It was more bread than meat. I felt ripped off. We'll NEVER go back. We'll drive to Mineral Point and give them our business if we are ever craving a sandwich from Firehouse. What a disappointment. Firehouse: you won't last in Sun Prairie unless you pick it up. There are a ton of other restaurants in your area where people can go where the service is better.
