Danzinger Vineyards

We visited Danzinger Winery on our recent trip down the great river road wine trail. We initially missed this winery but decided to backtrack to it the next morning. WOW so glad we did as this was the best winery we visited. We visited with Mr. Danzinger the owner as we did our tasting and he is a great story teller. Anyone that has visited a winery knows that you can have great wines but when the owner also can tell the story of the wine you know you have found a winner. Its a long ways from Kansas City to Alma but I would make the trip again just to visit this one winery. Just wish we would have bought more bottles while we were there!!!
