Commonplace

I moved to Milwaukee from San Francisco recently and had a little trouble initially finding the sort of thoughtful, minimalist, well-made design objects for my home that I used to find in the big city boutiques... Then I stumbled upon Commonplace! This place is amazing, definitely worth a visit. Zach has great taste, though is humble and was super friendly. He talked to me for awhile about the backstories of many of the makers and small companies that he carries. The shop is well curated and inspiring to be in. I also enjoyed the jewelry store next door (Tasha Rae). I definitely look forward to checking this spot out again soon.
