I've been there numerous times and found the clerks very friendly amd and efficient. They always knew how to handle my packaging and answered all of my questions thoroughly. This place is one of the best Post offices I've visited.
I recently paid $22.95 to have a letter sent with a GUARANTEE from the Burlington post office that it would be delivered the next day or I would get my money back. I asked to have the recipient of the mail sign for the letter and, NO-ONE TOLD ME AT THE POST OFFICE THAT THIS MIGHT NEGATE THE GUARANTEE. When I later checked the tracking, I determined that the letter was not delivered for TWO DAYS and I went to the post office for a refund. It was then I was told by two employees including the Postmaster that as no one answered the door at the apartment complex office the first day, a notice was left and since the complex did not come to get it, the guarantee was void. I later called the realty company in Pittsburgh and was told that the postman had knocked on the WRONG door where he placed the notice also. Regardless, the Burlington post office REFUSED to return my money. Apparently, the word guarantee means nothing to the usps. ;-) But perhaps they use a different dictionary.
I ship a LOT of packages and live midway between four surrounding towns. Drive the extra three miles to go to this post office. It has the fastest, friendliest, and most helpful staff I've ever encountered!!
