On a Sunday drive yesterday, my husband and I stopped for brunch at the Belvedere. This morning we are still talking about what a grand feast we enjoyed. If the Belvedere were located in Eau Claire instead of Marshfield, we would be among their most frequent customers. IMHO, it serves top-notch, old-fashion comfort food at reasonable prices. The buffet was so enticing we passed on the salad bar - which looked good and is something we rarely by-pass - just so we could save room for main course seconds. Afterwards I also had to pass on the enticing dessert table, though my husband recommends the several selections he sampled. Buffets are fun because diners can pick and choose their favorites among the choices. Our problem was that everything offered appealed to us. We were surprised there was not a waiting line.
