I started seeing the psychiatrist here earlier in the year. Things were ehhh... but tolerable. I've come not to expect too much from these types of so called "doctors," but there was a major shift in what I imagine to be their patient load... not positive...? and Alliance Medical Group has basically become the same impersonal, indifferent, no knowledge/substance providers everyplace else has turned into. People like to blame health care (especially mental health care) problems in the United States on insurance providers etc... I blame a large majority of systemic health care problems on the doctors, their devolving attitudes towards medicine, lack of scientific knowledge and process and this odd sense of entitlement they seem to feel. "I've been seeing you for 5 months and burned through roughly $2000. Nothing has changed and no progress seems to be being made in my condition currently. Things are just as difficult in relation as they have been. In hindsight, you haven't done a thing to help me... what am I paying for exactly? and why do you feel you "earn" your wage?" Anyway, I wouldn't come here; especially if you are suffering from an illness that requires more intensive and specialized attention. You deserve a provider who can provide that. -LV
